I was at one of those historical re-enactment villages a couple weeks ago and I learned how to fingerspin wool. I've always liked watching the spinning demonstrations, and while I'd like to move up to that, fingerspun wool is fun too. So, let's take a look at FiberOptic, a great little yarn shop run by a PhD chemist who used their knowledge to form a superior yarn. I have to say, I love the color choices!
Jelly Jelly Roving
Superstition Roving
Ginger Yarn
I just love the intense colors. Can't find that at JoAnn or Michaels.

Oh, how gorgeous! I set up once at one of those re-enactment events, and their clothing fascinated me. Could have been the Native American lads in their little loincloth thingies though. :)
ooooh, I have a thing for wool yarn, even though i never use it :) I want to learn how to spin, how cool!
"Christian has typed til he's blue in the face to keep politik off."
One or two reminders is NOT "'til he's blue in the face." Secondly, this coming from the member who's always bragging about all the letters she's planning to write to President Bush lambasting him, signed off with choice puns such as "save a tree, kill a Bush (or something along those lines) and a carefully chosen quote from Woodrow Wilson lambasting conservatives?!
Then you have the audacity to follow up your self-appointed SS-woman charade with the words, "Unless Loreena is going out with a gun, I don't want to hear about it here."
Smooth move! You scold the entire list (many of whom are old enough to be your parents) because one or two people were talking politics. Then you, yourself, after all your political grandstanding, make a statement that could be interpreted as anti-2nd amendment!
And for the most part, nobody was talking politics. It started with me stating I was using a song for a dance performance, and a couple people reminded me of a certain member getting all uptight about copyright laws associated with that... and he did. And it escalated from there.
You all but say, with great authority, that I am the world's biggest SNL fan after I explicitly state that I have NEVER been one!
You say you see "100% commitment to Loreena" in me after I say, "There are a number of artists who have always meant a lot more to me than Loreena, Garth Brooks being one."
And then you have this.
Your reading comprehension skils are the most pathetic I have ever seen. I've seen mentally retarded people do better!
You also poke fun of me for my political affiliation while comparing my likeness to a character on a show that WHOLLY misrepresents my politics and what they're really about AFTER giving the entire list a dressing down for talking politics.
Even you should be able to see the obvious irony in your mannerisms there!
BITCH!
