Coast Chimes

I figured we'd trade in the loud and booming fireworks from this weekend for something a little more pleasant to the ears today. Enter TskDesign (aka Tim Kline). Tim creates unique windchimes he calls Coast Chimes. What really drew me to his design was the color. I love the different shades of colors and shapes. Tim uses wood, stone, beach-glass inspired artist made glass and various metals in his pieces.

Congratulations to First Light Glass, a shop that specializes in fused glass art and jewelry designed and handcrafted by artist Dawn Montgomery. According to her profile page, Dawn has been working with stained glass and fused glass since 2003. She has a home studio in Jacksonville, Florida where all of her art glass is created. Many things are available from her shop including pendants, paperweights and other items for the home.

I was bopping around the front page of Etsy, wondering what to feature next when I decided to look at bookmarks. No particular reason, I just like to see what comes up with various categories. I came across a couple bookmarks from Plunkett Designs and when I visited their page realized they sold more than just that. They sell beaded jewelry, holiday ornaments, bookmarks and card holders, some of which benefit charity. You can read more about it on their profile page.

Balanced

Balanced is one of those shops where I don't know how she does it, I'm not sure I want to know how she does it, but I love it and it is amazing.

I'm talking about these totally awesome cool beadwoven bracelets and other jewelry of course! You'd think with my mind for crochet I could get a sense of what end is up with these but I can't. And I think knowing her secret would ruin the mystique for me so I'm just going to sit back and admire. And show them to you so you can admire them as well.
